I appreciate your "applause" Priscilla! I borrowed him from nature long enough to take some photos and then placed the small branch back in the bush. It was such a cooperative little caterpillar. |

Thank you so much Neal. I love finding those unexpected ops and that was definitely the situation with the caterpillar. |

Thank you Murphy. This little caterpillar was positioned in such a way on the branch it was crying out for some photographs. Not being used to using borders, I agree it would be an added feature to the caterpillar. |

Thank you so much Alane! It was a fun little critter to work with.
For clarification, Barbara Asacker is the Barbara leaving the group, not me. From the comment, I was a little confused that you think I am the one leaving. |

Charles...This is a lovely still life photo and well composed. Quite different from the original photo too! The lighting and placement of the stemware along with the textured background make for a beautiful setting. An old book could even be added to the picture to change it up a bit. Nice job!! |

Very nice photo of the birds. They are sharp and good colors on both birds. I would suggest Shadowing the photo to remove some of the vivid green background. |

Priscilla...I like the July Image. It is warmer and has more color contrast to the unique design. It definitely has more WOW to it. Nice composition and photo! |

Murphy...It's a nice composition but the colors seem a bit harsh and I think the border is distracting making it look even busier. The flowers could be burned down (Photoshop) considerably giving more focus and contrast to the butterfly. |

Barbara...This is a lovely photo of a daylily. The bright color of the petals in contrast to the more subdued buds is very striking. The depth of field is nice and the rule of thirds makes for a nice photo. A breeze can be annoying but you did a nice job in spite of it. |

Neal...the focal point of the picture is of course the insect surrounded by the beautiful white semi-transparent petals of the flower. I would suggest perhaps a tighter crop on the left and bottom sides which would remove more of the stem and the dark background. Nice capture of sharpness throughout the photo using the rail and stacking process. Great picture! |
