Priscilla...I like the combination of the red tulips with the brass teapot. Very cute idea! The contrast of the black background and the teapot adorned with the vivid flower colors is lovely. Nice job! |

Hydrangeas are so beautiful and this winter version has the look of a dried arrangement. It's pretty but I would definitely crop it way down. I would suggest cropping out a lot of the stem on the left and top and all the way around. You have a nice contrast with the background and the bloom with the bloom being your focal point. It's a very nice picture. I have added my idea of the cropped version. |

You created a very nice artistic picture with the slinkies and colors. How you arranged everything with lighting and poster boards makes for a nice colorful picture! |

First, I like the fact that you have an odd number of poppy seeds in your photograph. You did a nice job of stacking and especially using the focus rail. A lot of work went into capturing this picture. There are some blank spots between the seeds so maybe using a seashell or two or something else to tighten it up a bit would enhance the seeds. It's amazing how something simple like flat marbles scattered about can add to a photo. |

Alane...This is a nice profile of the seagull. In reading the specs you used, I would have used a higher ISO setting perhaps 640 to start with and adjust the shutter speed according to your light source. A higher aperture of f8 might have provided more focus for the beak and overall profile of the bird. He appears to be enjoying the attention! |

Neal...I like the whimsy you have included in your picture and the leading line of the spider to the doorknob. That gives the eye a direction to follow. The different textures of weathered wood included with the rusty doorknob are a nice combination for the viewer to ponder. |

Thank you Barbara. My goal was to create a reflection that would be clearly seen in the plexiglass yet subdued. |
