Thank you Murphy. Monitors do vary from one to the other as was seen recently in my local photography club pictures. One picture in particular looked rather dark until projected on a large overhead screen. It can slightly alter color resolution as well. |

Thank you so much Priscilla. I never quite know what the end results will be when experimenting with a subject. |

Very interesting photo. The red color is nice and vivid and the details on the box are clear. I would suggest cropping it to the outer edge of the wood on both sides and focusing on the contents within the box itself. Be careful snooping around in those dark back alleys!! |

Very effective photo with so many geometric designs! I like the colors used and all the abstract that goes with it. Great job! |

Very clever way to recycle a rose! I use Nik Silver Effects quite often for the vignette Sepia look. The shadows from the light looks as though the flower was swept down from the upper right to where it is positioned and it is very effective. You captured a nice color effect on the rose! |

You have captured an interesting subject of the hat and signatures. It speaks for itself in monochrome and a tight crop. No other distracting features to distract the eye. Well done. |

He's a brave little guy on that spiny branch he's perched on! It's a nice shot with clarity on the eye and upper part of it's body which is the focal point of the picture. The depth of field is nicely done and lighting is enough to capture the insect's details. |

I guess I'm not following your comment about the "washed out" background?? A solid black foam poster board was used behind the image so I can't figure out what is "washed out". On my computer it is a pure black background. I think either the black or reddish brown background would enhance the bloom or even cobalt blue. |
