Thank you! This picture ended up in a contest on one of the local tv stations. When I took the picture the anole sat there as if he was enjoying having his picture made and in no hurry to leave. |

I love this image and would like to in more detail your technique to achieve this. The colors are nice and the layout is very artistic. Nice job! |

Priscilla...lily flowers are always fun to shoot and they produce lovely images. I tend to like one bloom in a picture and feel the top bloom detracts from the lower one. Maybe a lighter etching around the edges.
I have read about Mike Moats and his macro workshops but have never taken anything from him. |

I eat fresh blueberries everyday so this image speaks to me! To make them pop, I would suggest the contrast of a white background perhaps some blueberries on a small mirror with with a little more distance. I have so much fun experimenting with a brainstorm. Never know what I will end up with. |

I like the way you have the lily positioned and the reflection of the lily in the black glass. Exposure is excellent and the subtle frame gives it some pop. Nice job! |

It's an interesting device but unaware of what it was used for. You captured a nice image with clarity of components within the device. Your choice of framing really adds to the picture. |

A very interesting approach to an image. I would have removed the hand and had the eye balanced on the top block and subdued the light on the blocks somewhat. You are creative!! |

Thank you Murphy! I look forward to being a part of Group 63 and enjoy seeing the pictures posted. I like to stack and have a rail but have not used it that much. Still a learning curve on that one. I appreciate your comments. |

I agree the broader edges and longer stem enhances the orchid so I will try and rethink a different approach. |

I don't see anything posted to view. Would love to see your example. I agree with all your comments but have been taught a different approach to capturing and processing flower photos by my mentor. I will definitely work on broadening a new look. Thank you for the critique!

Thank you Barbara. I appreciate your comment and value critique. I have orchid plants in my bathroom windowsill that are always blooming. They are an interesting plant to photograph. |
