Here is a shot, without flash, of the card I sent. I did little editing because this is an example. The card is much better than this and even the image I submitted this month. As information, I use Mixbook.com for my cards because of its quality and the fact you can order as few as 1 card. |

Thanks for providing the original. In your editing you have added a real pop to the image through what appears more saturation and maybe a glow filter. That with what you did with the camera movement resulted in an interesting effect that is not just a standard up and down or sideways motion blur. For fun you might try an image version that has the base lights under the tree not blurred using layers but still having that area with more saturation. |

Your image with text added could be a NewYears' card; sending cards of our photography is a nice way to share images I've found. The photo's colors are relaxing and I like that the way the colors together show a tree. To comment fully, I would like to see your original image. |

I like the two triangles that are formed by the beach grass and horizon, and, the beach grass and surf/sand line. They draw my eye to the subject lighthouse which is well-positioned in the scene. Because of the flat lighting when captured, the image could use some contrast. My suggestions are reflected in the image I provide. I'd pull up on the shadows to show more grass detail and add a glow filter to all but sky and lighthouse. I will also apply a local adjustment only to the sky and lighthouse to add more detail and contrast. Also, you might want to remove the distracting sign mid-image as I did. Except for the lighthouse, this scene looks a lot like our beaches in Washington during the winter. |

Good composition of the bird and having it face into the frame. The bird's beak being parallel to the log grabs my attention. To maybe improve the image you might 1) darken the log as it's drawing attention from the bird, and 2) use a De Noise program and or add some sharpening to the bird; I note ISO was 1250. On my monitor, the bird is a little soft. Nice capture though. |

Nice image of the city after sunset. I especially like how leading lines draw me to the distant horizon point. The two triangles 1) the inland waterway and the beach and 2) the orange-lighted street and the beach pull me to the horizon convergent point. But, the tilting buildings on both the left and right are a distraction and should be corrected. See my suggested edit. |

I like the composition of the couple and the ship and the ship's direction. To highlight the ship more on this hazy afternoon, I think sharpening the ship a bit might help. I tried to upload a suggested edited version but the PSA upload did not reflect correctly my edits. |
