I like it. It also cuts out the unattractive parking lot with the cars. I would clone out the distracting piece of roof in the lower left corner, and of course, add more to the top. |

You're right, the tower is too close to the top. I should have caught that. I'll see what I can do. Thanks! |

Thank you, Lou. I might try darkening down the sign a bit. Perhaps if it is a little more grey instead of bright white it won't be as distracting. |

Thanks Richard! Good to hear you were drawn to the green first. |

Getting a good shot from a video is always difficult. This one has a rather fuzzy look in the foreground, and lacks detail. I'm not sure whether or not this is from the camera movement, but I would suggest trying a still shot and bracketing to retain detail. |

The image looks overprocessed (oversharpened and oversaturated as mentioned by the others). And the sky has a lot of noise. It needs to have a denoise algorithm run on it.
The composition is nice, although there is a little too much sky and I would recommend cropping a little from the top. But I love the round blue pond with the leading lines all leading the eye there.

I like the idea, but I think the composition could be improved. I'm wanting to look straight down on the tallest cactus, and I agree with Pete that it needs a little more breathing room around the edges. Also, the sand color doesn't speak to me of a desert scene. The shadow says it is probably late afternoon, but the muted sand color seems to say overcast day. Warming up the sand might help. |

I like the composition, but the blue is teetering on being too much for me. I think the sky halfway up should be lighter, even if the top is left as is. I wonder if this scene is lit up at night. If so, it might make a very interesting nighttime picture, or dusk just as the lights come on (I've seen some oil refinery pictures recently that are absolutely beautiful at night. This might be the same.) |

I like the sky replacement but I think a late day sky would have served this image better. I see from the sunbeam in the original that the sun would have been right above it, and I like the bright spot on the water, although toning it down a bit would have worked. Perhaps adding a sky with a bright spot and some sunbeams would have also worked. |

Alderjarfoss is my favorite waterfall in all of Iceland. From what I understand, the water turns brownish from sediment in summer, but turns a beautiful iconic blue in the wintertime. I was there in winter, so my shots are a solid blue. Although I like the B&W, it looks a little crunchy to me (oversharpened), especially in the water at the bottom. It's great that you could get down so close to the pond! |
