Ladies loving their contributions and that they are being photographed. Good capture. The subjects fill the frame nicely and the pies, while definitely part of the subject, also act as nice leading lines |

I like both but I too found the B&W more mysterious and drawing me in. The lines seem to pull me more to the subject, and others have said I found the bush distracting. Having shivered many times at Petro Cans I appreciate Bruce's comments. Without the bush, I would find it very hard to have a preference as all the blues had that sense of cold and early morning aloneness.

As with others I find this image works equally well in either colour or B&W. I like both. The slight toning on the B&W seems to imply an older simpler time. I agree the tighter crop really adds focus. Good image, as always. You and Isaac always provide such interesting environmental image that the context even strengthens your images. |

I think I actually like the B&W version as I find my eyes are drawn to the orange rather than appreciating the whole scene. I found that I focused better on what was happening. I like the crop as well. Isaac's crop did clean it up even better. |

This has it all. Colour cohesion, leading lines, and tight crop. I might have left the heads on the two women in the background. A powerful image that holds the viewer's attention for a length of time. |
