58 Dec 22 Reply Thanks Bruce. I did enhance the light beam a little as you suggest and it is better. Dec 13th
58 Dec 22 Reply I like it. Thanks Isaac. Dec 13th
58 Dec 22 Reply I am not familiar with Nic Viveva, what is that? Dec 12th
58 Dec 22 Reply I like the crop you did. I might even take a little further to take out the pole on the left. Thanks. Dec 12th
58 Dec 22 Comment I love the remark "The calm is hidden in the chaos of the world around us, easily overlooked." Brilliant. Dec 12th
58 Dec 22 Comment I like the image and the sense of scale provided by the men and the lines leading to the top of the image. I think I would have liked to have seen the complete arch at the top. Dec 12th
58 Dec 22 Comment Not much I can add here. Powerful image and I like the crop and the B&W treatment, I think it also just adds to the indifference. Good image, well taken and processed. Dec 12th
58 Dec 22 Comment Great shot. Capturing power and culture all at once. I think the crop is perfect as you are visually describing the scene. I like the colour image and the lighting could not be better with a multi light studio shot. Dec 12th
58 Dec 22 Comment I think the contrast in the way you have lightened it brings the viewers eyes right to your subject. If any change it brightness I might take the pillars down a little. Nice shot with a great title. Dec 12th
58 Dec 22 Comment I guess I am the dissenting view this time. I think the red provides colour cohesion throughout the scene and explains the red glow on the people.I like that you have good balance of brightness between the lights and people in this night scene. In LrC I might perform a transform on the building. I do not use anything other than LrC and, if really necessary, go to photoshop to remove something. Need to learn how to use layers for such activities as you describe,

58 Dec 22 Comment Agreed, you captured the message perfectly. A very challenging shot from the hip to frame that well. Well done. I do like Ed's pp on it as well as seems to even further emphasize the isolation and desperation of the scene, Dec 12th
