Great job Henry! I love the conversion to B&W. Keeping the intensity of the leaves with the contrast of the road, tree trunks and ferns. Lots of detail in the road. No recommendations here. I have not been to the UP, someday I hope to. |

Allen, Great job on the crop and B&W conversion! Makes me want to go back and look at the many trees I have captured and reconsider my options. Thank you. I enjoyed working on this image. I did a little brush work on the trunk, increasing the exposure and contrast, adjusting shadows, blacks, adding texture and clarity. Finally adjusting sharpness and noise on the entire image. |

Thank you for your observations Lance. I will work on the image more, you have given me some ideas. I have printed this on a couple different papers, but I felt not 100% about it.
Thank you Henry, I have modified this image many times, but I keep going back to this version. I am glad you both like the composition, I know I enjoyed being there. |

I love the composition and IR. Print Henry's version! I have never tried IR and I have seen a few with this group. I am going to experiment with it. |
