Wow! Thanks so much for mentioning Cole Thompson. I really enjoyed visiting his website and particularly liked the Ghosts of Auschwitz |

Thanks Oleg, it is challenging but using masked layers helps the work flow. See reply to Jill above. |

Thanks Jill. I'm actually planning another shot of the same scene next month but I'm going to try a different technique to eliminate people- if the shutter remains open for a much longer period then objects that move disappear! I'll use a lower ISO and perhaps an ND filter. I've read about this method but never used it. |

I agree with Jill's comments, maybe slightly crop the open sky at top? |

This is a sports action shot showing two football players right before an immediate action is to occur. Focus good (and no action blur), exposure right on and well cropped- good shot! |

Nice shot of the waterlily blossom and innovative post process. The grains of pollen on the filaments are not tack sharp - I might try an overall softening of the image or applying the Orton effect to create a more ethereal look. I like the image. |

Hi Oleg, Thank you for the Holiday Greeting I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and your New Year is going well so far.
The photo is a unique shot of a Christmas ornament on a tree with bright stars and circles with patterns inside that were apparently created by special lens and filter. This does give an interesting effect however there are too many circles for my taste but this is entirely subjective. Thanks for creating this shot. |

Hi Santosh, great capture, well done! Having shot many photos at night, I compliment you on making this image, the exposure looks very good. The photo looks like the shutter was open for several seconds (>5 sec?). The composition could be improve by having the subject, the Mosque, slightly higher in the frame instead of down at the bottom and at the same time eliminating the lights across the water. |

I am pretty certain most locals wouldn't even recognize the location! |

Thanks Alex, I had thought about a sky replacement but I needed something to exactly match sunlight hitting the trees and I do like the serene nature of the original. |

Yes, agree the water may be slightly too saturated with blue, thanks. |

Thanks Drema, I had to control myself from my usual tendency to over do the saturation. As photographers we all have concerns about the use of AI. Especially now that Photoshop has apparently (I say apparently because I don't use any Adobe products) made AI as part of their software for modifying images. In this case the flip probably not be noticed by locals as the location in not readily accessible. |

I'm somewhat of a train buff but in this case I think the top quarter of the image is the most interesting and the church is the most appealing part. The morning light gives nice lighting to the church. But that said, it is an interesting photo to see the dramatic cliff with buildings on top and the rail line below. |

I think you have capture the graceful beauty of this bridge. The soft light and soft tones add to this beauty. The lone sail boat with a gentle wake is also a nice touch. |

An interesting and unique landscape image for sure. As others have mentioned, abstract art- I see a couple of eyeballs in there. Well done! |

I like this image a lot, looks like a wonderful place to have a nature center. I like the way the island is in a very rough way, a cut out of the woods area where the lawn and building are and dropped in the water. I think the photo could benefit from slightly more colorful water. |

Interesting subject, its amazing what kind of crazy stuff one can come across in travels across the US. The two buildings on the left are more or less intact but the one on the right is chaos and to me the most interesting- I would have filled the frame with that one perhaps from a different angle. Otherwise, exposure, focus, processing look good to me. |

Wow, Christmas lights indeed! The image is well composed with the subject corner house off center and the overhead lights acting as leading lines to that house. Good luck Alex with the new drone, looking forward to seeing more great photos. |

Hi Patrick, and yes even in the most densely populated state in the Union, there is still plenty of open space. I was hoping the reflected trees on the water's surface would be enough to attract the viewers attention. Thanks for your comments. |

I enjoyed looking at the image, the great lakes ship and tug interest me and the frozen river is something I don't see anymore as I spend the winter months in FL. The one draw back I noticed is the white level/luminosity is a little too high, to the point where the foot tracks in the snow lost definition. |
