You have managed create a nice soft image from one that I imagine was shot in fairly bright full sunlight. The colors are very nice and the butterfly has a nice wing spread. But there is something I can't figure out, the head looks ok but the body is not well defined, something is off there. |

Looking at the website referenced above, I was surprised to see the number of vineyards and wine making in your state. Next time trough, I'll try to stop at one. The image is good, the vertical format works well, the background blur is good and what makes the image for me is the highlighted area of the bunch. To me, the brown branch running horizontally is just a little too heavy. |

I like the composition with the sunsetting in the right third of the frame and the orange - red hues in the sky are beautiful. But the sun and the area around the sun is overexposed and the blacks are washed out - I don't think there is any way to correct this in post. You may want to experiment with exposure bracketing when shooting an image such as this and then combining the bracketed images in post. Depending on software used, you might try to HDR the images. Your camera has this bracketing feature automated, it's the AEB function. |

Nice street photo and tells a story - looks like a nice place to hang out and people watch. The image is perfectly exposed and focused. I do think it suffers, as Jill mentioned, from too many distracting elements in the background reflections. |

I'll make another visit in a month or so to get those fall colors and set it up as you suggest, need to find that beautiful red dressed woman. Thanks for your suggestions. |

I agree with other commenters that a little more sky would be helpful. Also, perhaps using a vertical format where you cropped most of hill on the left and picking up the image by edge of the foreground island, this would put the subject more closely on one of the thirds. |

Hey Lou great photo. I haven't been to this part of Utah but the image makes me want to get there someday. I think there may be just a slight amount of halo effect as shown in the very thin black border between the mountain and sky - easy to correct. |

Hi Mike, this is an interesting shot, good that you got a least one of the "artists" at work. I might consider reducing brightness of the background buildings. The cans in the water and discolored water add additional commentary to the photo. |

Did some reading on this lighthouse, it has a very interesting history. I'll be sure to visit next time in this part of the country.
Looking at the image, the subject is clearly the light and the city makes an interesting background, it works for me. |

Colorful indeed! I think it's a great shot, beautiful sky, nice leading line and interesting hues created by erosion exposing underlying minerals. As Drema commented, perhaps slightly less sky might be a small improvement |

Thanks Drema for your helpful comments. I think it must be something in my personality that urges me to straighten things out. This bridge is not far from our summer home and I plan to return either early AM or later PM depending on my findings using PhotoPills; October, early November should work... |

Person on the bridge, good idea thanks. Did not fly through an arch of this bridge but I have in another and it was bad luck: after flying through, a bird attacked the drone and it was going down but somehow it recovered, have a video of the incident. |

Nice sky and interesting landscape with windmills. The building in the foreground isn't that interesting but the windmills in the background are and moving in closer to them could make a better shot. |

This shot makes me want to be a kid again, looks like fun! The image shows the colors nicely and interesting shadows and shapes. I missed the child until Pete mentioned it. |
