Nice framed composition image. The walls slightly out of focus, have a nice texture. And I like the way you've reduced the hardness of the sunlight. |

Hi Tom, Thanks for stopping by to take a look at group's photos. I like your change, for me it's a toss-up to say which I like better. Thanks for your suggestion. |

Great capture, tells a story that probably repeats so often. To me, it looks like the lower eagle is a younger eagle trying to grab food away from an larger bird.
The image captures the motion perfectly. Based on the original photo, I think your cropping was just right. |

Neat shot. Window washer's moto - 'Don't look down!'.
Jill's comment is well taken but then the other way of looking at it is a wider shot might evoke more drama in actually seeing this person, small in size compared to the bldg, hanging way high up there.

Thanks Jill. Ever since I was a kid, I've enjoyed seeing milkweed seeds fly away in the breeze. Milkweed is a very interesting plant. That movie is on my radar to watch, esp after I heard it was filmed mostly in NJ. |

Hey Mike, Stonehenge in Texas, who would have thought! I like the shot, very interesting subject. I'm trying to picture in my mind what the scene would look like if you had shot it rotated about 90 deg cc, so the camera would be facing head-on the large dark slab and the five upright structure where seen in a more symmetrical arrangement. |

I knew we were in for not idea weather- the airport was closed for two days before our arrival due to high winds and the winds did abate enough for our plane to make the trip but still quite windy during our visit. I'm planning another trip August, 2026. |

Very nice photo, again make me wish we had better weather during our visit. I agree with Drema's comments concerning the background mtns. You did a good job with the processing the image. |

It may not necessarily be curves adjustment but just a little something to give it slightly more punch, the lighthouse maybe just a little more white. But this of course is personal opinion and as you know, I sometimes go a little too far with saturation. But the more I look at it the more I think leave it as is. |

I had to lookup that lighthouse to answer the question about what the rigging was on the pier: it's apparently a walkway above the ice used in the winter.
I like the image a lot and I feel the expansive space you mentioned (before I read your description). I wonder if it use a slight about of curve adjustment? |

The image shows off a beautiful coastline, nice image Alex. A sunset shot may make it even nicer.
I second Drema's concerns regarding the devastating catastrophe that has befallen your state. Hope you are OK. |
