Thanks Jill. I now routinely flip images horizontally (and vertically!), it's surprising what you may discover about an image. |

Yes it was a fun little trip. Also did some biking along the Erie Canal in NY state. You may see a shot of that as well in a future month! |

Thanks for your comments Julia. I had another shot without the foreground log but this one is more interesting. |

There is a bit of noise in the sky, I'll try some noise reduction techniques to minimize. Thanks. |

I took the liberty of adding some further refinements to your image using Affinity Photo 2 (I abandoned Photoshop and Lightroom 5 years ago). Adjustments included perspective to make the buildings vertical. |

Yes, it's a good picture- you did the best you could given the circumstance. |

Good capture Jill- I can almost feel his pain! The dust and dirt particles in the air add to the sense of movement. For me, the top rail in front is a distraction and it could be easily removed- except for the part in front of the horse's legs and hoof so you have to leave it. |

Another excellent bird photo. The background almost looks like it was a studio shot! There is just enough vignetting to darken the edges but no so much to make it distracting. Did you erase the original background or is it that there were no close objects. |

You have a good eye to catch this arrangement of items, it is an unusual view. The focus of the shot is to the left, it might help if you could darken somewhat the right side where the two women are working. |

Very nice result for a new try on long exposure. The photo is well composed and has vibrant display of colors, and I like the street light lens flare. The camera setting indicate a 1/15 sec exposure but the moving car lights show long trails, I don't think the cars could be moving that fast! One thing that might improve the shot would be to bring up the black levels of the sky. |
