Marilyn, nice revision - the eyes are brighter but not unnatural. Comparing to the original you did great job with the post. |

The original sky was so flat but close to the horizon doesn't matter and there's a bit more spry visible. I need to become more skilled with gradients. I think the revision is an improvement. Thanks. |

A big thank you Jill for inspiring me to look at that aspect of the photo. I agree the horizon lost definition - I used a blur brush there to help blend the new sky. In the revision below, I used original sky close to the ocean and a gradient to blend the new sky. Better? |

Marilyn, nice shot and I like the results of applying the Topaz smudge - I need to experiment with the comparable Affinity tool. Is there a way to brighten the eyes a little and maybe slightly reducing the shadows in forehead area? The leaves look cool and you did a good job with the post as the subject was in a strong shadow. |

I like the water and the reflections- mostly but there is one reflection that seems to be too strong and that is the one behind the center goose. The eye initially goes to the brightest spot in the photo. I love the golden hues in the water. |

Hi Drema,
Thank you so much for the detailed review of the image. I think one trouble that I have is when the image is out of the camera in raw I know that everything has to be enhanced to get the image to look like it was when captured. Perhaps setting the camera to take both jpg and raw and use the jpg as a reminder of the approximate scene when shot will help me from going overboard with the adjustments.
I did make adjustments to the images based on your suggestions, what do you think? As an Affinity Photo user, I was unable to use the Lightroom tool. Instead, I used HSL and the selective color tool in Affinity.

Thank you Lisa, I have really enjoyed receiving many diverse opinions regarding the image. The bridge does need toning down, this will also allow some of the rust color to show up better. Thanks! |

Thanks Don, I'm going to play down the saturation (a little) and submit the image to one of the monthly competitions at our local cam club. |

Hey Don, Nice shot, I like the loong shadows and the Pavilion is interesting. This comment may say more about me than the photo - I would like to see the front of the roof line squared up with edge of the image. |

I need to leave a photo rest over night after processing and then look at it again the next day - saturation is bit over done. Thanks Lou. |

Thanks, will drop the saturation down a notch or two. I did not fly under the bridge but now I wonder, is there something inherently dangerous about that? Possibly losing contact with the controller- and the drone goes straight up and collides with the arch? |

Very nice shot, I like river/stream running down through the center of the image but it's not a strong feature in the photo. Also I like the sky with a hint of the sun over the mountain. Would it be possible to do an adjustment that would make the red hues pop a little more? Maybe an HSL adj. |

Looks like a perfect day for a shot like this. I think your adjustments are right on target. Question- did the drone stitch the frames together or did you do it in post? |

Boy they like to squeeze those parked cars close! I like the symmetry of the closely parked cars and the row houses right next to each other. For me, the tower in the background is not important. |

Well done! The leading edge of the glacier draws the eye into the scene and the low lying clouds to the right is a nice aspect. I can see where the foreground floating ice is a somewhat of a distraction but ice in the water is an important part of the story. |

Thanks Alex. I find it difficult to judge the saturation and not over do it. The camera has an option to shoot both raw and jpg; I wonder if I had the jpg file to refer to when processing the raw, could I get closer to the actual scene? Raw files are so flat. |
