Nothing beats a picture of Old Glory waving in the wind with a nice clouds and a blue sky. Good leading line, good composition. Nice shot! |

Thank you Lee Ann. The fruit bowl with these elements (and sometimes peach, cantaloupe, or another) is something I try to have every morning for breakfast, so the idea of an image was right there. |

Hey Alison that's a good start with your new lens. Lensbaby can really take your creativity to another level. The photo is well composed and great colors but I would prefer the beard to be more in focus. |

Great, this was the first of two PSA courses that I have taken. The second one, which I just completed, is Image Evaluation which I also highly recommend. |

The one thing that I should have added regarding the image is that it was taken with a 15 sec exposure in a darken room. The light source was a moving flashlight. By manipulation of the light you can create highlights, textures, shadows, etc. in the photo. |

I think dragonflies are amazing! This image shows great detail in the wings and the fact that the wings are almost completely transparent, remarkable how mother nature created such a creature. The colors, the focus (subject in and background out), and the composition all work, well done. |

Nice image, with the charred logs and fresh cuts certainly does have a narrative. Composition/view point is well chosen. I like the patterns of the wood in the chainsaw cuts. |

Excellent flower/bee photo. The color and texture are very good. And I like the critter on the flower stem. I agree with the others that the spots should remove, easy to do.
Two items: 1. I think that little black bug on the petal to the right is a distraction, 2. The flower has a slight lean to the left, I would consider flipping it horizontally and then crop and rotate a few degrees so as to increase the lean to the right making some petals more on a diagonal, just an idea. |

Fantastic shot, good focus and no motion blur. The trail of 'fire' on the water is very interesting- refraction and reflection. I might have cropped just a little off the left. |
