Thanks for your comments, Brian. I agree that the fog should be extended closer to the top of the frame. An easy matter to remedy.
A few days ago I saw a conceptually similar image by Christophe Huet (headless body with shopping cart, reaching for one of numerous heads on the shelves in a store) in a collection of surrealistic composites.
In the case of my image I will explore (in my mind) the inclusion of some other elements of antiquity that can be used to allow the statue to move off center and which might strengthen this composition. So consider this a work in progress. |

Thanks for your comment, Hazel. We seemed to have lost the comment by Brian that you're referring to. When I composed the image I did not position the body with more space above because of formal considerations (typical in classical art). However, more assymetrical contemporary arrangements could allow for more headroom. It all comes down to personal choice, I believe.
Thanks for your comment, Stephen. An interest fact. I'll check to see if I can find more information about this specific body. |

Thanks Mike. I think that your idea is very interesting, particularly since the statue's hand is already "gesturing" toward the right. Maybe at some point I will make an alternative version. |

Thanks for your comments, Peter. I suppose that one could switch positions of the heads, or play with the Photoshop neural filters to make changes in the heads and the angle of the eyes. The lighting of each head is important, but to change that, I'd have to go back and re-shoot the heads. But I'm Okay with how they look, as is. |

Hi Joan. Thanks for your comments. Good suggestion about the space above. I would extend the fog then a bit also. |
