Hello Sol.
What a fun image. The story I envision is the love of three comrades who have been together for years. Their ages show they have been on the planet a long time and have seen a lot of life. I like the positioning and the fact that the man on the left is facing the camera with his body, but his head is turned to show a profile. I wish the right man's ear wasn't cut. To match this, I would crop the man on the left to match. Not only would this make the cuts look intentional but it would enhance your story by bringing the three men a bit closer. |

Hello Barbara.
Such a sweet and simple image. I love the color balance between the subtle yellow and dark red. I also enjoy the way the stem and stem shadows come down at the bottom to the point of the window shadow light. I would consider taking down the headroom just a bit but other than that, this is a wall-hanger. |

Hello Norm.
Beautiful image. I love the way you framed the two distant mountain peaks through the opening of the arch. The colors are wonderful and make me want to visit the spot. The framing is very nice and I particularly enjoy the four layers, five if you include the clouds. My only suggestion would be to take down some of the headroom to focus more on the arch and background. |

Hello Harriet.
I really enjoy the ethereal look. It's a bit mysterious and kind of cold looking, but I think that is very effective in telling the story of a cold, misty morning on the farm. Although somewhat monochromatic, the gold and yellow separates the image from black and white to color. I would like to see more of the fence at the bottom. Border patrol is very important in that prominent subjects should not be too close to the border or be cut off. In this case, your primary subject is the vane but the fence is secondary as it backs up the story. You might try taking a bit off the top which would balance the image a little better. It's a very nice and peaceful image. |

Hello John
This is a nice capture which the title supports. I see the fish particularly because of the mouth. I am enjoying the colors. The blueish grey supports your story and enhances the image while the orange coloring supplies a good background. Although small, my eye keeps wandering off the to left border about 30 percent up from the bottom where I see a small red and white area which can easily be spot-healed. Red and white are eye-grabbers and can benefit an image especially when showing scale but in this case, it is a bit distracting. |
