47 Mar 26 Reply Thanks, Al. I'll keep the triangle and see how it looks without the light. I appreciate your comments.

47 Mar 26 Reply Thanks, Barbara. I'll give your suggestions a go. I fooled around with the contrast of the building so I'll revisit that idea.
Thanks.

47 Mar 26 Reply Thanks, Ed, your feedback is much appreciated. I always seem to struggle with skies in my B&W photos. (The original color version has a beautiful dark blue sky and the building is yellow!)
I will try your suggestions for improving the photo, along with the others' input.
Thanks.

47 Mar 26 Comment Wow - you really put a lot of effort into this photo, and it certainly shows. I really like it as an abstract. And it has the feel of a watercolor which I really also like.

I love the monotone presentation and the composition seems to have worked out nicely.

I'm not familiar with the movie but will track down the trailer now that you've peaked my curiosity with it.

Really nice finished product, Kirsti!

47 Mar 26 Comment At first I thought that the light from the back room was competing with the main room, but upon looking at the photo further it almost becomes two photos in one. The lighting is excellent and the overall tone of the photo matches the theme. And I like the texture in the walls, the fireplace and the remains. I feel like I want the vignetting opened up just slightly, especially in the lower right side, although it certainly is effective as is.
Thanks for another great photo, Barbara.

47 Mar 26 Comment It's amazing how you bring out the texture in your photos - referring back to last month's). I like the composition of the photo and the overall feel of it. I'm not familiar with ON1 wo will have to check that out, and am also interested in the selenium tint - will have to give it a try. Mar 16th
47 Mar 26 Comment Hi Doug,
This is a wonderful portrait. I like the setting and the camera angle and blurred background, as well as the relaxed pose. The only thing that I can suggest is maybe try to take some of the highlight off of his forehead - other than that, very nicely composed and created on your part.

47 Mar 26 Comment Thanks Kirsti - I want to do more photos like this.
I struggled with the lower corner. I tried to crop it out but it upset too much of the rest of the photo. I hadn't thought to clone it - I'll give it a try.
Thanks!
