Hi Barbara,
This is a wonderful photo. I like the contrast of the waves moving into the foreground as the rocks take the viewer into the photo. I also like how the rocks and the dark clouds compliment one another. And the shutter speed is perfect for the "softly" title that you convey. My only suggestion would be maybe to increase the brightness a little bit. Otherwise, a very peaceful photo to look at. |

I'm not familiar with the tilt-shift lens but I assume it's so you don't get your own shadow in the way? I like the photo a lot - a nice abstract to get lost in. I like the inclusion of the different tonal ranges. What was this ice on? I was trying to photograph snowflakes on a mirror the other day and could not figure out the best strategy. |

Hi Douglas,
That's a well defined photo and you've captured the athletic physique of your subject very well. My only suggestion would be to clean up the left side of the image - the gray area should match the right side of the image I think.
