Hi Jeff - great image! It's as much about the spotter as it is the lifter when I look at it. The textures in the photo are great. I particulary like the lifter's chest area with the sweat showing. I also like the diagonal lines of the spotter and the bar and the parallel lines of the lifter's hands and arms. Great capture of the moment. |

There is so much beauty in this photo!
The composition is fantastic as is the processing.
And knowing it's an animal makes me appreciate nature as much as I do and also appreciate your ability to capture it, as you've done here and with past photos.

I like the concept and your composition, and the circuit board really drives the image for me. There are so many areas of the image to explore! I like the original 2 version because of the complementary colors but also because I think the background enhances the image. So I think Jeff's suggestion is a really good one to help improve the image.

I really like the technical aspects of the photo as mentioned in previous comments. I think the photo would work better for me if I knew something about the particular road, or if it was a famous road like Abbey Road or Penny Lane. But I'm sure it has importance to you which is why you photographed it, and as I said, you did a great job technically of doing it. |

Having been to Fez I think this photo sums up the vibe of a lot of the city. Fez can be very colorful and cheery, but it also has a dark side and you've captured it here. The different levels of streets, alley ways and stairs can make one feel like they are in a maze. Perhaps tone down the upper middle section? Perhaps providing more light on the people might help but I like them in the shadows since that is what I am originally reacting to. |
