Hi Barbara - this photo works for me as is. I especially like the way the muscles in the musician's hands are emphasized. I would not have thought there would be that much muscle tension in playing the guitar but the photo does a great show of showing that detail.
Really nice photo! |

Hi Kirsti - another great opportunity you were preented with.
My original reaction was the woman looked like more of a caberet performer but old Hollywood works also.
I think the background walls are fine; I do like the original for the placement of the subject.
Perhaps you could try working on the focus with Topaz or some similar software?

Hi Ed - this is a very dramatic image. I like the replacement sky but I think I might like the original sky slightly better; however, both of them work.
It's an amazing piece of war machinery and you have captured it well. The photo to me shows a contrast between the might of the machine and the uselessness of it once it has seen battle and is no longer needed. I also get a sense of the reality of the world we live in since this tank only dates back 50 years or so. Nicely captured. |

Thanks, Kirsti! There were many other opportunities that day for photos but this was one of my favorites. |

Thanks for those suggestions, Barbara. I will give them a try and see how it changes the image. Much appreciated.
