47 May 25 Comment Thank you. Turkey is a spectacularly beautiful country and well worth visiting. May 21st
47 May 25 Comment This is a very tender capture and your description of what is going on enhances it even more. I agree with the texture comment.

very timely capture as I'm sure you did not have a lot of time to prepare for it.

47 May 25 Comment I love how you went from the original to the final version - what a difference. The sky is very dynamic and adds drama to the scene. And your work on the eye of the main bird really jumps in the photo. And I also love the black face of the bird contrasting against its white body.
And I think the framing is perfect.
Another excellent photo.

47 May 25 Comment This is a nice capture. I didn't realize the snake was fake until I ready your description. I can see it in the color original but not in the processed image.

I could see this photo going in many directions - both the snake and the boy in focus, or either one of them. So this version works very well as is.

I see an inquisitive, young, fearless child who is in awe of the natural world.

Great storytelling photo, Kirsti!

47 May 25 Comment Hi Jeff,
This is another great landscape photo from you. There is so much going on. I love the different textures between the grasses and the sand, and also the different textures of the sands. The sky compliments the foreground very nicely also.
My eye keeps roaming from one area to the next.
Very dynamic photo!

I see what you are referring to. I will rework the photo foreground to see if I can improve it.

I will try to enhance some of those highlights as you suggested. They are a little muddled.

47 May 25 Comment Hi Douglas,
I like the idea of a photo of a photo event. I think including all of the photographer would help but if you don't have him in the original it still works as is.

What did you use for softening the background?

I like the exposure and the facial expressions a lot.
Nicely done!
