47 Jun 24 Comment I appreciate this image very much because I'm on Lake Champlain right now and tried to get similar silhouettes of sailboats and failed miserably! But I have more time to try.

The silhouettes of the people in the boat is very effective for the composition of the photo. I, too, felt myself distracted by the clouds in the upper part of the photo. But notwithstanding, it is a superb shot.		 Jun 20th
47 Jun 24 Comment I think the color image has more pop but I think this hi-key version works very well in its own way. I particularly like the
balance in the photo: the placement of the person is complimented by the rock in the background to the left, and the person's outstretched arm is complimented by the sloping hillside in the back left. The tire treads really add some interesting contrast to the natural scene. I think this BW version works very well!		 Jun 20th
