Thanks Paul. This a Canon L zoom. I usually try and stick to f8 or f11 to avoid diffraction effects. My experience has been that clear outdoor images are as much dependent on the air quality as the camera settings. |

Thanks Ed. I agree the foreground appears somewhat incongruous to the skyline image. My intent was to show how ancient London ( the river bed which has been a way of life for people for 2000 years) contrasts with the Victorian bridges, the older Cathedral and the modern architecture. The people on the mud banks were a bonus even though they aren't actually 'mudlarking'.
I should have added more on this in my description. |

An interesting take on this image of rock formations with the foreground commanding our attention. I agree the leading line works well and validates the composition.
I have used focus stacking on macro images but not on landscapes. I am going to try it. |

A wonderful shot. The composition is beautifully done with the arc of lights flowing from the left to the house. The reflections too add a magic to the effect.
Whoever owns this house must have thought carefully about its visual impact. Technically a great shot with the perfect balance of light and dark.

I like the image and the contrast between the grays and the bright colored moon. It must have been great to be there and witness this rare event.
The color of the moon has been changed in post yet its reflection in the water appears not to have changed. The fiery orange is more striking than the sun like yellow. |

The subtlety of the colors coupled with the impact of the composition show a great skill in conceiving of and realizing an image. Understated yet powerful. And showing the beauty of Nature. Amazing. |

What a great picture. It depicts a whole lifestyle with the house in the context of the mountain wilderness and makes you wonder who lives there? The autumnal colors are engaging. Technically perfect as all Paul's pictures are. |

Oregon is an amazing State and Ed is showing us parts of it with stunning photos. This is a great composition, perfectly rendered, of a different type of natural beauty. I was in Ashland last week (which I like a lot) and Ed's pictures make me think I need to venture further. |
