Nice shot, Ed. The composition is good and you have brought out the interest in the colors of the wood. These kinds of pictures raise questions of when was this building in use and who were the people that built it and used it. And why did they stop using it? A whole story on an image. I vote for the color version. |

Paul, this is another of your pictures that makes me want to go somewhere. The crisp differentiation between the horizontal layers is incredible. I have never seen rock formations like this. The slashes of dark green add to the drama of the image. What a great capture. |

Darcy, this is a great picture, especially given he original is relatively unpromising. The colors in the reflection are rich and absorbing. I especially like the orange sunlight reflecting from the patch of water toward the top of the picture. The juxtaposition of the bright orange and subdued reds of the 2 areas of water makes compelling viewing. |

Dawn, this is beautiful. The colors of the sky are extraordinary and to me are the main interest of the picture. The tree is a pleasing shape. I would normally prefer a subject like this to be off center but here the central composition works. Your post processing skills are next level. |

George, A truly astonishing picture. A very dramatic storm and the lightning reminds us of the power of nature. I like the balance of light and dark on the right hand and left hand sides of the picture and the gentle distortion of the short lens.
Amazing. I wouldn't mind a large print of this on my wall! |
