I like rock formations and have spent a lot of time trying to capture them with not great results. This shot is excellent as it captures the interesting symmetry and shape of the rocks as well as their scale. It would be interesting to see the same shot at different times of day as the light and shadows move around the formation. |

I like the silhouette of the tree and eagles against the amazing sky. It makes a great story. Good observation to see the story in the trees above you and capture it.
Who catches most fish, you or the eagles? |

This looks like something extra terrestrial has landed in Lynn and is still glowing from the journey. A relaxing image with a mysterious object in is compelling viewing. The BW conversion was a good choice, it takes the image out of time. |

This is a great composition and is the kind of photo opportunity I would not have noticed. It has symmetry, movement, and a bridge to somewhere/no where (always intriguing!). The original is good, too. I like that it has a little more greenery above the bridge.
I just got an RF24-240 also. I have used it a couple of times now and find it works well. It isn't perfect everywhere but the weaknesses can easily be worked around.

I like the way the moving water appears to be layered with more apparent movement on the upper layers. The rocks in the foreground are very interesting with their shapes and colors. A fascinating picture. |

This is an astonishing picture, George. I did not know it was possible to capture the Milky Way in this manner. Great composition with the arc of the galaxy matching the shape of the rock formation. Blending all those exposures and ending up with no apparent artifacts must have been a challenge.
What tripod did you use (I am looking for a new one as mine waves in the slightest breeze). |
