I like this image. The colors are very carefully rendered and the combination of the exposures leads to an interesting effect on the water. I like the sun piercing the clouds in the sky.
The drone camera gives excellent images. I had no idea drones could do this. |

Excellent composition capturing a huge range of scale. The bubbles frozen in the ice are interesting and bring interest to the front of the image. The range of blues and greens are nicely balanced.

I really like the way there are the brightly colored flowers in the foreground, the hills in the mid distance, the mountains in the far distance and the highly detailed clouds over all of it. Each section has its own interest and the clouds tie them all together.
I don't see any problem with the exposure. |

A fascinating mixture of textures and color. It takes a while to determine what we are seeing and during that time the textures and patterns are engaging. The palette gives it an other-worldly feel. It is interesting to see how big a difference flipping the picture makes to the balance of the composition. It definitely looks better this way up. |

This is an excellent composition. The stream bounces down the hill and the plant life decorates each bank with perfect splashes of green. The shutter speed is just right to emphasize the flow down the hill. I agree that the absolute scale of something doesn't necessarily make a great picture. It is more about balance and the way the frame is filled, 2 things that are spot on in this picture. |

Another great travel picture, Paul. I really enjoy the way you capture the energy and essence of a location. The lady on the bicycle is part of the scene yet possibly not part of the group. The lady sitting down seems to have something very important to tell her companion who is either not allowed to sit down till she has finished complaining or is about to go and put the situation right!
I agree the background is a little too bright. |
