Thanks Ed, I agree with you about the haze. It has been reduced using the haze slider in lightroom. I pushed it as far as I could without introducing artifacts. |

This is a really nice shot with the ferry perfectly positioned moving forward across the frame. The detail is excellent due to the sharp focus. Your picture has made the ferry into a glamorous ship going to interesting places. |

Nice composition with the silhouettes of the boat and shoreline contrasting with the bright orange of the Sun and its reflection. Very peaceful and I imagine father and son are having fun bonding time in the boat.
How should we think of AI in the context of Scapes? |

Excellent moving water picture. I like the contrast between the falling water and the dark brooding areas of rock either side. It has a feeling of lightening with the angular streams of water and the sheets of falling water. A strong composition and it feels right that you came back to this after trying other crops.
I was surprised by the amount of water movement/blur at this (relatively fast) shutter speed. Has the water fallen a long way by this point (IE it is moving fast?). |

Nice capture of someone's happy place. Is it taken from a road or are you on a boat in a river? Interesting that they painted the place such a bright red. Is this common in Alaska?
The post processing has made the cabin pop from the trees. Dawn's adjustments to the magenta are very helpful to the natural look of the image. |

I like the contrast between the old, hard rock and the soft, ephemeral, shape of the water. A picture to look at while contemplating.
The post processing has been very effective at pulling out details in the rock. I admire the tenacity shown in securing this shot, especially considering you were out there with waders and a tripod.
I agree with Darcy that the dragon is out there somewhere! |
