Great shot, I like the scene reflected in the blue ball (including photographer!). I would guess that it was hard to get a good balance with the bright snow above it.

Wonderful composition and great timing. How long do the dawn's rays illuminate the scene like this? It looks like an alien landscape with black sand and glowing mountains. |

I grew up near London and it's great to see the river bank and the seasonal decorations. I like the slightly over exposed lights - it gives them a larger than life impact on the picture. Very seasonal (although I am surprised there are no people around - aside from the ghosts that came through the frame during the exposure). |

This is a great picture. The trees and their leaves look spectacular and the excellent balance between the light on the leaves and the flowing water gives a harmony to water and trees. |
