Frank, thank you for your comments. I will look closely at all reds and oranges and dial it down. It's a very colorful image already, so no need to push it to the limit! |

Adrienn, thank you for your comments and observation. This park is called Maroon Bells because some of the rock formations have maroon color. I did increase overall saturation, but this is the the color of the rocks. I took this image on the very bright morning after the snow fall and it added considerably to the brightness, made everything very vivid. |

Frank, I much prefer square crop. I think you can crop it a bit more on the top and right side. It's nice to have breathing room, but I think there is too much of a black area that does not contribute to the image. Otherwise, well done! |

Hi Adrienn, Nice to meet you! It's an interesting image and you certainly created a feel of dry, desolate place. White/red spot under the horse is distracting. I think this image will be stronger without it. I would also crop this image on the left and a bit on the bottom. I think it will create an effect of rider going uphill. I looked at your gallery - beautiful work! |

Frank, it's a beautiful, dramatic image. Nice details on the feathers, bright and sharp eye. As for cropping, it's impossible for me to see the edges of the picture. PSA screen background is black and it mergers with you image. I wish the screen was gray, it would be much easier to appreciate photographs. I suggest adding thin gray frame around your images. |
