10 Apr 22 Reply The suggested crop works well, or you can clone the "extra" bird out of the edge for more water around that edge. I like softness of the white feathers, which are a good contrast with the sharper areas of the birds. Apr 26th
10 Apr 22 Comment I really like the fluffiness of the bird, even if it isn't super-sharp. To me, the bird seems to have a "what are you looking at?" look, but the softness of the feathers creates a good contrast. Apr 26th
10 Apr 22 Comment I love this one as an abstract, but not so abstract that you don't know what it is. I think you really captured the "lure" of waterfalls...why so many people just stand and watch the water. I especially like the "hanging" drops of water, which our eyes might not see without the help of the camera. Apr 26th
10 Apr 22 Comment Daffodils are always a challenge for me to photograph...I feel they are pretty to look at in fields, but sometimes they photograph plain or all the same. I really like your approach to this version. The softness and glow work well with this subject...makes the flower eye-catching and interesting. Apr 26th
10 Apr 22 Comment I agree with the suggestions of removing the branch that runs through the bird's neck. I would probably remove all of the branches except for the one the bird is perched on since the branches don't add to the overall story or impact of the photo. Fortunately, you have a plain blue sky and no leaves on the tree, so cloning out the branches isn't very complicated. Apr 26th
10 Apr 22 Comment To weigh in on the B&W versus color, I'm a fan of the color version because of the emotional impact red/green/yellow has throughout the image. The red draws the viewer in, while the green and yellow add good balance. Another option to add depth is to dodge/burn some of the highlights/shadows so the corners stand out more. Apr 26th
