Thanks for describing the editing you did to lessen background and to put the focus on mother (maybe grandmother) and child in a way to make marble less overwhelming. You accomplished your goal. There were so many different ways you could have shot this scene and like the perspective you chose. Particularly admire the way you capture the lighting in the entrance hall and top of scene. |

The scattered logs on the shore makes the photograph for me as they put the ferry in perspective with its surroundings. Blue sky and puffy white clouds are another benefit. Once again perfect composition. |

It's a win/win when a photograph exhibits well in both presentations. I prefer the color version as enjoy how the tan grass, with golden highlights, compliments the brown dirt path against the backdrop of a brilliant blue sky. Both versions create a mood. The color photograph is joyful and the black and white version is filled with mystery. |

I have no idea how you accomplished this but it's amazing. Love how the rain drops on the lily are so pronounced. Excellent extraction. |

Grazing alpacas make a serene scene. Green grass and leaves provide a consistent background. Never saw shaved alpacas before. They're either very chill about being shaved or avoiding all human contact fearing more fur loss. So interesting that not one glances at you or checks you out for food. |

Jerry you made me laugh cause my farmer friend is always correcting me when I say cows for some of their farm animals. They do have some cows cause run an extremely popular ice cream parlor on their farm. They make the ice cream. Glad photo brought back memories of your childhood. |
