51 Feb 25 Reply I've used Dramatic black and white app for Android for years. Dave, our former group fearless leader, recommended it. Feb 6th
51 Feb 25 Comment The only pine at Torrey Pines appears to be dead. Hopefully it wasn't harmed by any wildfires. The sweeping beauty of the ocean is always a draw. It's so strange to see ocean surface is so flat. Also missing big crashing waves in New Jersey. Atlantic Ocean currently looking flat like a lake as your view of Pacific Ocean. The waves are what make ocean scenes compelling. Feb 6th
51 Feb 25 Comment Such an evocative sight as this rose tries to maintain its elegance and beauty while laden with ice. Good catch and composition. Feb 6th
51 Feb 25 Comment Your photograph is a perfect homage to beauty and majesty of a tree. Interesting that one trunk divided into two separate trees. This is the type of tree that owls in my area like to use as viewing/ sleeping location. Wouldn't it be wonderful to spot an owl scowling down at us from this lofty perch? Feb 6th
51 Feb 25 Comment This photograph reminds me of how I would be on important phone call and my children would get mischievous knowing telephone cord limited my ability to get to them. Most people would walk by not knowing potential of this image but glad you spotted this one. It's a talker photograph as viewers could debate why 2 phones different. One with designated numbers for medical staff only? Wonder if the phones still work? Good capture and composition. Feb 6th
51 Feb 25 Comment You've captured the beauty of snow and how it can make scenes look magical something I try to remember as I head outdoors with shovel. Think we're both going to get more opportunities for snow photography over next 2 weeks. Feb 6th
51 Feb 25 Comment This is a win/win as really admire both images. Composition is superb and particularly like how powerful his paws look. The color photograph works for me as the lion's coat and eyes resonate with wall background colors. The black and white conversion make the lion look more majestic. Feb 6th
51 Feb 25 Reply I want my photography to capture a moment in time and rearranging items in the photo belies that. Looking forward to seeing how you use this technique in your photography. Feb 5th
