wow. That is so impressive. Thanks for explanation. It makes all the difference. That scope was worth every penny opening up an entire new reality. You're going to have lots of fun exploring with this Starscope. Looking forward to seeing other photographs taken with this powerful combo. |

Thanks Dave. Sadly Milkweed attracted fewer butterflies this year. |

Think including part of container and black eyed susans is gardener's maybe misplaced perspective and wanted to include setting. Liked how orange of container picked up color in spots on outer edge butterfly wing. |

Didn't use portrait mode in Snapseed. Think camera phone blended background as I got very close to butterfly. |

I don't see the roof in featured image in the other images. Sorry but must be missing something. Looked closely at all images and don't see this roof structure. Maybe new scope so powerful that illuminates and changes view previously not seen without the scope? |

I was talking about phone photography with someone who saw no redeeming qualities in it. Your photograph stopped the discussion, proved my point and I think converted someone to phone photography. My closing argument was that you always have camera phone with you. This is a stunning photograph on so many levels. Hope you enter it in some contests. |

All your work has produced a delightful watercolor effect. I would crop some of the water from bottom of the photograph to put more focus on gentle, soothing blurred background. Interesting, productive experiment. |

Nature in all its glory beautifully captured by your phone from the gently rippling water to the foggy mountains and blue sky dotted with white puffy clouds. Good composition of serene setting. |

Your hand-held flash did excellent job of dramatically illuminating waterlily. It's too bad couldn't find waterlily isolated by itself in the water but totally understandable that not want to move camera phone and flash around as could lose them in the water. Love the black background and white border. Interesting and productive adventure. |

This photograph is definitely a talker/story teller. How far back to car? What happens if rattlesnake on trail right around corner? How deep are cactus roots? I could never follow this trail. That said the composition is excellent with vanishing trail set dramatically against Arizona Mountain range. Very impressive view. |
