Really splendid capture of the attraction of a dirt path beckoning us to follow it through a field ,hopefully filled with grasshoppers, butterflies and birds, as we head into the shelter of shaded trees on a summer day. Would print and frame. |

Like your editing and addition of oldish feel. Good eye, again, for seeing and capturing the "talker" in this scene. Worked in a newsroom and "talker" was compliment about photograph or article that would result in people discussing it when gathered around water cooler. |

Wow. Thrilling to come onto such a magical pastoral scene and be able to capture all of it with one expert eye from composing the scene from sunset to red barn to plowed fields and round hay bales. Perfection. |

Agree the HDR treatment really captures the patina of the aged and weathered buildings. I also would like to know how to isolate HDR treatment on just buildings and not water and sky. Enjoyed this photograph and looking forward to seeing what else you captured in trip to France. |

Very dramatic photograph and really enjoy seeing how you kept the fire and man, who threw kerosene on the fire, in color and rest of image in black and white as brings image alive. How did you isolate man and fire in color while rest of pix B/W? Interesting story behind meal preparation and well thought out capture and preservation of action. |

Cropping out the cars was a good first move. Enjoyed following your photo editing journey and seeing the masterly improvements. River and moving water carries our eyes into the photograph and the clouds add drama. Think editing as much fun as finding and framing an image to shoot. Really well done before and after. |
