Oh yes.... Too much open space. but the intent was to create an image with contrast colors and a few point of interest like the boats. Perhaps if got closer to the corner of the island, or just crop it. would have had a better appeal. |

I should have done that with photoshop. Correct I should have created multiple layers and blend them. but I have not been effective in finding a clock with 26 hrs. I will check this black Friday in Amazon. Thanks for the input |

I have filters and I have not used them yet. I am afraid to damage the camera. I will try this coming trip in December. |

Very good image. It was mentioned above about making some changes to the colors. I agree. If you are a photoshop user or any other software that can separate sections, this is what I would have done. make 3 layers of the original.
Layer 1 darken the sky a bit more or increase the saturation
Layer2 Lighten the forest. So we can see more detail.
Layer 3 Sharpen the ground and add a bit of exposure.
Impose each new layer to the original and I think it would make an image with more impact. again is my suggestion and may not deliver the maker intent. Just my 3 nickels(inflation) |

Pattern, angles, interesting lines are really appreciated in photography, specially in BNW. I see that the lower part of the angle could use a bit more room, just a minor details.
Sharp details.

Ah!!!! Blue ponds, red barn, fall foliage, no need to ask for more. I would have like to see the saturation turn down a tiny, tiny bit. Too bad I was not there. |

I like the colors and the reflection. Great sky. This image falls in the rule of thirds. But like some said before a bit more view to the right, would have had more impact. |

I like cactus. A BNW image is better when there is a great variation bet black and white. This image does a good job. Like some said before, we need a point of interest. In this image the hill with so many cactus is the point of interest.

Regardless as where was taking, the images is nice. Seen a stream or fall into the lake or ocean, makes it great. Color contrast is also good. |

Interesting shot. In photography patterns are always welcome.
Too bad you did not have a big battery to wait for a another truck to fill the 3rd lane. |

The issue and danger is 'return to home'.
Just bring it back way before is due.
DO not wait for need to 'return to home' is crucial.
Land it manually. it will be a challenge wind may make it difficult.
Otherwise, why not. |

Thanks, Yes I did launch from a pontoon, just to the left of the image(not shown). A bit of a challenge the return. |
