18 Feb 23 Reply The score is based on a point per pound. Feb 18th
18 Feb 23 Reply Glad you appreciate it. Feb 17th
18 Feb 23 Reply Please that it got your attention, but do not gaze too long as you may get the impulse and invite Ian to try. I love to hear your comments. Ghostlike? You have to realize only a ghost bowling ball will reach a basketball basket. I believe Nike is making special sneakers for Steph for him to jump with a bowling ball in his hand.

18 Feb 23 Reply Thanks for visiting our humble group. Glad you did and thanks for the comments.

18 Feb 23 Reply Yes, sure try it, but keep people at a great distance. Good point to increate the difference in colors, but I was afraid of color competition, no pun intended. Feb 16th
18 Feb 23 Comment That is a frame to hang in the living room, or show it at a gallery. To start the original is very good, but the creation from it, it is exceptional. That was imaginative to convert to BNW and them to a negative style. The composition is very good.
Nice to see blacks and whites well distributed, it for sure contributes to an excellent Black N White Picture.

18 Feb 23 Comment Interesting creation. I find the background as a great creation. Good blending.

18 Feb 23 Comment No 50 starts? those are the ice cream scoops.
Oh well, as a pie I am disappointed, as a creation, I am very pleased that you share it with us. It is very nice. Like Ian, please tell us more how it was created.
Please do not spare the ice cream.

18 Feb 23 Comment Very nice artistic conversion from digital. Colors and brush strokes are well used. One minor detail. I mean minorrrrr; over the eye of one of the conductors, seems to have some extra blue stroke. Is that OK? Can it it be corrected?
The images takes you right into that station. It feels that the steam is about to show.

18 Feb 23 Comment Outstanding color presentation. The reds, oranges, browns, whites and golds blend very well. The motion of the dancer is well demonstrated.
The strokes used in this creation are managed with care and keeping the face of the dancer fairly clear is good. What I find of the bluish of one of the spectator a tiny bit distracting in the balance with all the other colors. Perhaps a paint touch of one of the color present would have taking the distraction.
View this image for more that 30 seconds and you will hear the music.

83 Feb 23 Reply Thanks, very pleased that every one has appreciated this image. I will print it and hang it in the living room, not in the closet as I do some with many of my other images. Feb 25th
83 Feb 23 Reply Agree.... I am always in search of ways to be creative.
I can not say that is better, just that is exciting to try new venues

83 Feb 23 Comment First time with High-key? NOOO. This is excellent work.
The pose is perfect and very nice capture of the posture. From front paw to nose to eyes to tail, all are in focus.
I see you capture a very expressive expression. I think he is saying "Go ahead, throw the tennis ball"

83 Feb 23 Comment Good capture of those kids, I like the range of BNW, blacks and in between. I do appreciate the sharpness of the hats. Yes as it was said about the distraction, ah minor details.
To me the cropping seems to tight. Nice conversion from film.
I have a few thousand negatives. Next Feb 29th I will look into those.

83 Feb 23 Comment Very impressive image. I love city images at night.
The buildings and the tower offer a distinct contrast in engineering. I see a minute movement of the building windows lights, yet the tower is quite sharp. Amazing what you got at such low speed. Can you tell us what did you drink before to calm your hands that well.

83 Feb 23 Comment Did any one count the lines for accuracy? Very interesting picture and a chance to hear what happens in a school as part of our heritage. In this case I would have like to see a bit more of the school room. Thanks for sharing with us.
The reason those lines still there, is because they can find no one to erase the board; or some one hid the eraser.

83 Feb 23 Comment Very nice capture of those trees. As Debasia said, perhaps more river view would have added more interest, but using such lens would not have worked. Also the wider the lens, less detail on the trees, in this case. Glad that you were able to capture the entire tree and show the contrast of the bark. Hope you did not get wet in the river.

83 Feb 23 Comment You guys left me little to say, I guess we agree that is very good image and interesting composition. I like the extra space below the branch to accent the rain. I do appreciate you capture the water drops in the branch, as it gives a very lively presentation in time. No thunder? Feb 17th
83 Feb 23 Reply I will love to hear opinions about this tryout. This is my first attempt to High-key. Feb 17th
83 Feb 23 Reply When I take a picture;
One is the excitement that this one is going to be the perfect one. (Yet to achieve).
Two, hope that if I did not get it with the camera, digital darkroom will help.
I aim for interesting and beauty presentations, like I said before, (Yet to achieve)

83 Feb 23 Reply High-Key????? I have been looking into that style, as I have never tried. Glad that you point this image as a candidate. Feb 17th
83 Feb 23 Reply Thanks. Correct, I think bnw has some impact. In color it was nice, but no impact at all. Feb 17th
83 Feb 23 Reply Thanks, Actually the time it was taken it may have been the same effect as a flash, but it was the sun light bean.
As I said the location of this flower is in a shaded area.
