18 Jan 23 Reply Andrew, replicate the effects? Actually try to create new ones.
It easy not to replicate, try ICM.
Some times when I try, is called UCM(useless camera movement, instead of intentional...)

18 Jan 23 Reply That is strange, as I saw it, when you posted.

Clever!!! The addition of those scaring eyes, makes it very frightening. I think the title should be "Trick or seeds"

18 Jan 23 Comment Thanks, based on the comments, glad I did not pour chocolate.... Jan 13th
18 Jan 23 Comment The moment I did arrive to the 18th group, my monitor started to sing jingle bells. White and Red, what a great set of colors. The conception shown here excels expectation. The arrangement of the birds adds compliments to the composition. question, is the red fringe around the birds heads intentional?
If it was not, let me know.
Glad you extend your decorations this season to the birds.

18 Jan 23 Comment Is great to see what other photographers see and take.
For sure it does show an intriguing and interesting image, as to the faces presented.
There is color abundance in this image and they all seems to play well together. The angle where the image was taking, shows a diagonal composition with the 3 figures and the shadows. In my opinion, I wish to see a bit more of the 1st figure face and shoulder, but as it is, still looks good.
I bet the prices of those suits were expensive.

18 Jan 23 Comment Nice color adaptation and a good show of digital darkroom process.
The question is: Is it 10:10 or 2:50?

18 Jan 23 Comment Very striking colors, the golds and the blues are a nice contrast. The motion as it is shown here, plays into my recently persue of ICM; intentional camera movement.
This image falls in that group even when it was untensional.
The interest is shown at the long lines and the little movement of the people. Great ICM. It almost produces the sounds of the crowd.

83 Jan 23 Reply Fingers are OK, but I still hear the ice crackling. Jan 9th
83 Jan 23 Reply Good semantics point. Correct the people only contribute to show the size of the landscape. But we could ask them politely to get out. Jan 8th
83 Jan 23 Comment I observe this image and I like the view of the leaf details and cracked ice. I am not sure how much detail was added or not added. As it is, it look good. I have seen in the past you like more realistic, I on the other hand I like the artistic effect a bit more. So I took your image and changed to increase the details of the leaf and the amount of ice to enhanced the image. No matter what, it look so cool that my fingers are turning blue. Jan 8th
83 Jan 23 Comment Black and White portrait, Excellent! The skin and the texture of the cloth are very well exposed. The idea that the veil was to close to the eye, did not come to play until, it was mentioned. Good point, but the other details like the sharpness of the hair, eyebrows and the window reflection in the eye will make you ignore the vail closeness. A woman mystique is definetely portrait here. 83 Jan 23 Comment The sharpness of the rock is the first to notice and then follow the water entrance to the view of a building on the cliffs makes it a great image. The variety of blacks and whites here are well shown. Water, rocks and clouds, a complete picture.
The only detail and I am not sure if the 2 spots are birds or dust; I would have taken them out.
I am jealous not being there right now!!!!!

83 Jan 23 Comment Now that we solved the mystery of why a 1/2 sand dollar shell. we can admire the image a bit more. The details on the sand dollar are very good. I like the idea of a more square image; perhaps less sand or (crust shell/barnacles?) and larger sand dollar. Yet the image gives a sense of salty air. Jan 8th
83 Jan 23 Comment An image to look at it and look again.....
The white lines of the road with turns and turns, makes you think of so many feelings, like excitement, fear and admiration. I like the composition of the foreground bush followed by the road lines. I would love to take that road downhill in a Volkswagen Beetle honking all the way down.

83 Jan 23 Reply Ay first the ideas was to show the landscape and the people to show the large rock. But I see if we want to add more impact there is to much to the right. So I told the people to move back. This may help Jan 6th
83 Jan 23 Reply Well, that was one option.
I am sure if you go back and look at the image, you will come up with a bunch of ideas.
That is photography world.

83 Jan 23 Comment I find the image to have an interest of subjects. The two people reading and those seats, those seats... Kind of unique.
Just like Mark made reference to the person walking at the left of the image, I personally would have not left them. You actually intended them to be shown. I am also intrigued by the composition; so much space below and to the left. There is always in my mind, why you did not concentrate in the main interesting elements, the people and the benches.
Were you trying to capture time or trying to create an artistic expression? As BnW is for sure a nice image with those lines in the floor. As you mentioned try other options, see attached my suggestions
