Thanks Jim, he really does seem to have an attitude (altho that may be anthropomorphizing) |

This is one of the most unusual cormorant photos I've ever seen. Usually they are in the water, not standing on a boardwalk rail. Very well captured. Love the look it's giving you. Great focus all the way front to back. I agree with Ted that it's probably a juvenile. |

Yes, I see you did the best you could with what you had to work with. The flowering bank is sure impressive, lily pads too. |

Red rhododendrons? I see orange and purple. Lovely flowers nonetheless. Egyptian geese certainly are out of their normal range?? Lovely goose tho.
It looks perhaps a little over-worked? Wings look a little odd. Would be interesting to see the original. |

Looks like tamarisk it landed on. The fluffy heads make a good photo opportunity. If it were mine, I would crop out a lot of the left side, reduce the brightness and maybe add some contrast. But it's yours, so take that with a grain of salt. |

I'm surprised they go for a chlorinated pool. Not exactly a natural landing area. It's amazing how well those Iphones work. |

Good diagonal placement. Such streamlined flight. Every feather in focus...nice work. I only wish the neck was a little more defined, but at that angle, very difficult. |

Interesting that you would mention the fuzzy branch. That would be my only suggestion is to crop it out. Make your photo a vertical.
Love the warbler. He is not interested in you because you aren't a lady warbler or a competing male...hehe. |

Didn't see this image earlier. The flowers are very nice and the grey background compliments them. Agree with Sherri, ax the branches on the left. They only distract from the blossoms. |

I agree, the portrait is perfect...such great detail and the flower adds to this image. I would still get rid of the hot spot in the top right corner, maybe after that a very subtle vignette? |

Masterful save. What a perfectly captured, gorgeous bird with a horrid background. You really salvaged it...well done. I like your sky choice. |

#2 is the winner. The one you featured is too blown out in the background. I think the flower should stay. Lovely monkey. You're lucky it didn't hurl poop at you. Howlers do that, I'm here to tell you. (It missed). |

Wow, they are so amazing. How he can even carry all that around and then strut with it. You did a good job toning down the full sun situation. |

Elk were reintroduced not that long ago in your eastern states. They are majestic animals. It would have been a bit more powerful if the calf had come out farther, but you may not have had the option to wait. I would tone down the yellow in the foliage just a tiny bit. It's a lovely spring photo. |

If you hadn't told us what was happening I wouldn't have figured it out. Looks like the stilt is fluffing its feathers. I like the one with the chick better. Tells a better story IMO. Your colors, reflection and focus are great. |

You are so right. I suppose I could use sky replacement. Frequently, this is sky in winter...not a cloud, but windy. |
