I agree, should have cropped out the shore. Suppose I left it in to show how snowy it was. |

I like the cropped bottom edge to get rid of the out-of-focus bit. Lovely breeding colors, good action shot, great focus on the pelican. What delightfully goofy birds.
You might consider cloning the back of the black head to extend it just a teense over the far wing. It appears they are fused or that the wing is in front of the head which would be an awkward flight position. |

Ah, our version of goosanders, mergansers, will be returning soon. I like this photo the way it is, and like the rippley reflection. Water colors are lovely. Tack sharp focus. Good work! |

I prefer the one with more of the gorgeous feathers featured. The eye on this bird is not its best feature...kind of blah, but it's good you have it looking at you. I like it the way it is, I wouldn't change a thing except maybe not cropping quite so close? |

Now this one is a prize winner. What bird tops a roseate spoonbill? Face and wings in great focus. Colors wonderful. Only wish would be the greenery could have been above or below the star of the photo. Alas, we rarely have options. |

definitely hi-key, but no food was involved. Humorous comment from Ms.Yappy was the point. Like I said, not a prize winner. Same reply to Michael. |

I like both the images, but perhaps the lighter one better. It's hard to see much difference and both are lovely. |

OOh I love parrots! Lucky to have these invasives? I would like to know if they are displacing a native.
But they are gorgeous and you captured a great look at their colors...almost flying! Nice action. |

How lucky are you to see a mountain gorilla. There aren't a lot left. She seems to me to be totally relaxed...not the least worried about a photographer being there. And what a face, you captured it well. |

And that's how they got their name obviously. Lovely sunset over the smokey mtns. The foreground firs (?) help draw one in...very nice and sharp throughout. |

ditto and ditto. Lovely egret! It might be a tiny bit dark. Not sure you could lighten the foliage without blowing out the white bird? |
