Interesting catch. The yellow and greens are a very pleasing color combination. The ginko leaf needs to be in focus, or give the whole photo an ethereal feel in PhotoShop. Personally, I would make it a vertical shot and crop to show the leaf with the bottom berries and leave out the stuff on the right. (in my not so humble opinion). Hope you have a lovely holiday season with your family. |

Very lovely portrait...blurred background, great focus and colors. What a pretty girl. |

Wish you hadn't cropped so close. Are there 3 female elk? Bit of a muddle. Different vantage point (go outside or to another window?) would have enabled you to separate them a little. Blue tones can be fixed easily in Photoshop.
Wish we would get some snow this winter. |

Interesting viewpoint for sure. Unfortunately it's impossible for the uninitiated viewer to see what is going on down below. The field patterns are pleasing. You would have to zoom in if you wanted us to see the "paddy processing" details and I fear you don't have the resolution to do so. |

Very interesting concept and well executed...but get rid of those extraneous sticks at the bottom. |

I rather like your dreamlike quality in the original Notre Dame photo. Colors are pleasing. You certainly went to a lot of trouble to resurrect this photo. Well done. |

Seems a redundant steep learning curve to me. My friends all use it, but I don't see their photos being any big improvement over mine. Glad to know there is one more LR scofflaw in the world of Adobe. |

An amazing bird to be sure. It's not quite as sharp as your usual submission, but it's so spectacular, who cares. I like Tom's crop. I think sometimes the extenders tend to dilute the sharpness of the good lenses. |

good story for sure. white goose doesn't seem too upset that its toy was stolen. Would be interested in your technique for making multiple images like this. Only way I know how to do it is by using PowerPoint first. But there has to be a better way. |

I agree the falling feather adds interest. Colors are gorgeous. Is the flamingo wild found in some slough somewhere? Guess water clean-up is okay, but not too necessary in my opinion. Maybe a few band-aids on the white spots. |

I don't use Lightroom either...just camera raw and PS. Sky could be darkened if that is what you had in mind. Glad you liked the link. |

Actually I had plenty of time as it didn't move and I have already removed some branches. It just sat there in its tree and watched me. Maybe blinked an eye? |

One thing you might do is dodge the eagle's face to lighten it up and show the eye. Perhaps just a little under the wing in the foreground also. |

The problem is still that the gulls can't be seen well. Whatever they are doing doesn't matter if we can't see them. I have to agree with Gwen. In this photo they are an afterthought, not a focal point.
It's an autumn photo of a lovely slough; that's the story you are telling the casual viewer. |

The snake isn't dangerous, but I am old and getting at eye level with a snake about impossible. I take your point though. |

The fall colors are stunning. If you wanted it to be about the feeding gulls, they are hard to make out and sort of an afterthought in your photo. Can't tell what they're doing. You would need to shoot them up close actually catching the salmon and/or eating it. |

I've seen that dam and know the photographers line up for the eagles. You don't ever seem to take a bad photo. Good catch with the fish, splash and low light angle. |

The jackals don't stand a chance if the hyena is serious. I like the crop. Little over-saturated in my opinion, but great interaction. |

With your 500mm you could probably focus on its nose hairs. Very sharp with lovely fall colors. They must be white tails but they have pretty good size ears. Not quite mule deer size, but especially on the fawn they look big compared to the head size. Nothing to complain about with this photo. |

Unbelievable iridescent colors. Lovely! We get white-faced ones here, but not quite as bright. Water looks fine to me. Whatever you did, it's a great and lucky shot. |
