But you said cloning was okay? Bit more work, but worth it for a good photo. |

That's what Photoshop new AI feature can help with...getting rid of extraneous stuff. |

I had no idea their bills were so prehistoric looking. Nice shot. As for the background. The lighter one is fine with me, but something between the light one and the dark one would work too.
The extraordinary bill is sort of lost in the darkened one. |

It's a flame-rumped tanager female, perhaps a juvenile not fully colored yet. Hard to tell with my bird book. |

Can't believe you even caught a bee heading to the ibis. I love the contrast colors of the eye, legs and bill of this white bird. Good blurred background. |

Tanager is my guess, but I'll get out my Colombia bird book and have a look later. |

They are rather territorial. I like swans and action, and this has both. Perhaps a less tight crop to get some more water in the frame? Just a thought. |

Something went wrong with the blur tool. The bird's edges have a disconcerting halo. Sorry to be so blunt. It could be a good shot with some different post-processing. |

Lovely Limpkin in the lilypads. Good catch with the snail in the beak. I've always liked limpkins just because they are so big and active. |

It's that pesty elephant behind her. Can't delete that one easily. Plus I love baby elephants so wouldn't want to lose it. But I should try sky replacement...should have thought of that. |

I just scrolled through the 250 winners in Share the View contest and found you there several times. GREAT work! You certainly have your wildlife chops sharpened. |

I agree the sky is awful. Yeah, it's difficult to stage direct elephants. |

Sorry, It's in Photoshop. At the top, go to Image, scroll to adjustments. There you will find levels, as well as other adjustment options. Move the sliders until you get the desired outcome. I just assume everyone has PS, but if you are using Lightroom, you have it. |

Oh goodie! another gorgeous hummer. You couldn't improve this one (IMHO). Those hummingbirds down there are so amazing. Glad to know what those flowers are. I always thought they were some sort of tropical hibiscus. |

Lovely sunrise. I agree with John that the foreground needs to pop. The yellow cliffs need a bit of enhancing. You might run it through Levels first to see what that does. Try that first before doing all the masking. If it's too much light for the sky, just do Levels on the selected foreground. |

Talk about beautiful travel photos...what an incredible bird.
Catching the purple under the chin an extra bonus. Can't think of any improvements to this one. |

Hi Sarita, it was in Botswana a few years ago. You can get very close to all sorts of animals there. |

What a creative idea, and well executed. I only wish the second skimmer were sharper and you had toned down the bright spots on its bill. I like the third just coming into the frame. |
