My earlier post must have gotten lost in the ether. These macaws are just so beautiful and to catch them flying wild with a blue sky behind, and in focus...what luck. So often the skies down there are overcast. |

Good idea. I found a photo I liked better, but got it in too late to switch. I generally don't like busy backgrounds, but sometimes one has no choice. I like your suggestion and will try it today. |

Ah, the truth. It's inspirational that you were that patient. (Not one of my better traits, I'm afraid). |

What a tender moment caught between these two. I like the way you lit the stick transfer and faded out the edges. Can't tell for sure but the receiving heron looks like the head and eye could be sharpened up a bit and maybe just a tad more light on that bird? |

Lovely red-bellied woodpecker taking the easy way out. They are such acrobats when going to feeders. Nice catch light in the eye. One small suggestion is to mask the bird and blur the background. I have the same problem all the time with noise in the background. |

Green iguanas are so primitive looking. I'd like to see just a bit more contrast to pop your subject. Perhaps also a closer crop to really focus in on your big lizard. They can be so colorful. Love the neck flap. |

Roseates are so special and to catch one with building materials and a clear background behind it was truly lucky.
What a gorgeous bird. Big and colorful.

Sheri, I don't see the eye covering...it looks fine to me. I like the breeding colors of the cattle egret. Good blur to the background. |
