Diana, thank you for those comments. I will try both suggestions. Probably not still life, but just color or creative if I replace the sky, which I think I have to do. Thank you. |

Denny, I had never done one before either, but I have seen some good photos. Knowing Dean really has an eye for cars made me want to put it in. Thanks for your comments. |

Anne, the original you posted on 2/6 provides more info on what you actually saw. I love that you caught how unusual the scene was and wanted to capture that. I would take out the pink in the main photo as it doesn't seem to fit with the nature scene that the trees present. Finding something different is always a good thing! |

Kyle, this is a really good photo! Your crop is excellent, and showing the snake close-up improves the photo. It could definately be entered in an exhibit or contest just as you have it. |

Diana, I understand the difficulty of getting a live animal shot from a distance. I like best the original 2 shot that has the whole body of each seal. The shape of the front seal is nice, and worth including. To me the seals in brown looks appropriate too, but I like the B&W processing too. |

Dean, nice capture. It has a story and an interesting activity. I like how you darkened the concreate. I think you could have left the whole table in it, and that would leave more of the blue tool in the photo. |

What a great shot! I cannot imagine how it would be better. Enter it into that National Park contest or magazine photo contest, and you should win. |

Hi Dean, Yes I know you have taken some winning images of cars, and really want more comments. If I replace it with my own sky, can it be used? Also, what category could it be entered in - maybe "Other" or "Anything goes?" The title was meant to be Mr. Red Jag, so if you could correct that. Please give me some tips on how you might deal with the light in the background, which did put the orig car in shadow. This car was just too beautiful to show pieces of it! |

Denise, this is such a creative photo of something on the wall. I think you did a beautiful job, and have nothing to add to the other comments. A really nice entry in "Still Life" or even B&W if all color is taken out. |

Jan, I think this is a WOW image. You envisioned something that most would not see. I really like the gold and blue tones on it. Is that a filter that does it? I liked Denise's suggestion of toning down the white lines, but I prefer the 3 figures (the magic 3) that you have in the main photo. |

Mary, this is just so creative! The colors mix nicely and make it more interesting to figure out. I also like it has a story. Good job! |

Georgianne, thank you for the info on the summit! It will be my first time to sign up. Have you attended it in the past, and did it help your photography? I love how you put the photos together and processed it. I hope you print it, as I think it will be a lovely one. |

Carol, I also think this is a lovely image. Your processing was very creative. I can see the B&W cropped in further to see more of the buildings! When Jan mentioned the two windows lit up, it made me want to see a version with only golden lights from the windows. What a beautful scene you captured. |

I like that too. It seems more serene without the rocks. Another title might be "Kara J Headed Out," but that is documentary too. The boat's name is Kara J. |
