Anne, I love the colors in this landscape. I like the old bridges, and they are hard to find. I like your idea of framing too. To my eye the top of the larger bridge does not add a lot, so some cropping and even more vibrance might make the colors pop to add to this lovely image. As it is, more muted, it might be interesting with a watercolor filter on it. Good shot! |

Denny, this is an intriguing image. How great for a first one! I agree with Dean on the highlights. If you have not tried to get some more detail into the bottle, give that a try and see how you like it, or just lightening the background a little. Welcome to the group, and I look forward to your next photos. |

Dean, this is a beautiful photo. You caught the sun at the right spot, and got a reflection too. I love the reflection of the clouds on the water. This would be an excellent entry in the Michigan state fair in Scapes or maybe their state parks contest, and glad I don't have to compete against it in Texas! Thanks again for being our leader here. |

Thanks. I think the softness was in the dampness and coming rain just a little later. Also, I did not take the foreground, middle and background in separate shots. It was just a few minutes I had to capture it, is what I recall the issues were. I will try the painterly or watercolor filters and see if those help. Thanks again. |

Denise, you made a door become an object of interest. The detail is excellent, and I can't add anything to make it better. Very, very nice! |

Jan, I saw this earlier and thought it was very good. How you put together the elements/photos is most interesting. The filter adds much to the photo. Good job! |

I really love this. The colors in the main image are perfect. I like the silhouette in the window (to add some fun to it), but it could also be a lamp, or a chair, or different sillouette. Makes one look a little longer at the photo. |

This is very interesting and different. You have a sharp eye to see this possibility. |

Carol, this is a beautiful image. How you put it together is excellent. There is nothing I would change. A large over the sofa print would be excellent. |

Thanks Connie. Did you make those adjustments on the main photo or the original photo, just for clarification? |
