Tim, when I saw the Original 2, and then your main photo - it's a WOW. You did so much with so little to start with. I love the treatment of the flower and brown/bronze background. I appreciate you putting in the detail the steps you used, because I am learning of some new tools from your detailed steps that I need to look up. Thank you, and well done.

Dean, you found great light on this little flower. I like the darkening and blur you added, and gives it more mystery. The only thing I suggest is to try a vertical and include the 3rd flower, that is cropped out of your main photo. Of course your original 2 is a gorgeous sunset on it's on. |

Thank you. I need to put the vignette on my check-list to do everytime, or at least try it. Appreciate the comments.

Dean, when I saw this I said "oh wow." But I don't see the flower in the sunset photo? Or did you layer them? Or is just for backdrop? |

Denise, I think this is a beautiful image with lots of impact. The colors are dramatic and with lots of detail. I know of nothing to recommend to change. Well done!

Jan, this is a gorgeous image! Seeing the original image and then what you made of it, is wonderful. I have tried this in apps and with ICM, but never processed like this from a still. I love the colors and added trees (so well done), but I don't think you need the sailboat. It takes my eye too far to the left. You might try moving the birds more central and then the focus comes back to the center of the photo. Well done! |

Mary, so glad to see you interested in and doing ICM. It is so much fun, but difficult to get a workable image, in my experience. I also think the colors are too dull, but I would have gone to Color Effects Pro and tried out some filters on the image. Some of the density filters, and even just more saturation ones, would give you some fun, different versions to try out. Hope you continue doing ICM! |

Connie, it is an interesting vibrant still-life. I too learned from the descriptions, and what all you did in processing. |

Georgianne, this is a beautifully made photo. Fortunately my eye keeps going to the purple flowers and back, because there is a lot to look at. What is stamp up? This photo could go into a "Georgia" calendar to show how beautiful the garden in. Good job of taking the bright day lights out. |

Carol, this is a lovely, delicate photo. Your lighting is perfect, and I am glad she had something in her hands. The streak on her arm can be repaired in PS. Just a suggestion to try a headshot to see just how beautiful she is up close. |
