Anne, great colors and impact in this image. I love to take photos of these engines, and you really found them. I agree with Dean about the clouds, and you can also just apply 50% of the filter on the image and be able to back off the 100% filter to get to a lighter treatment on the sky. If it got sharpened, then that might explain any halos. Also a tighter crop would help with the poles not taking up so much of the image, and more space for the clouds. Good image! |

Damon, I like the focus on his hands and the pottery. While usually in a portrait the focus is on the eyes, in this case the eyes don't really matter. You draw us into the photo with the concentration of the potter. Very interesting! |

Michelle, this is a beautiful image, and I especially like the sharpness of the rain drops. You positioned the flower in a good crop, and the bright yellow adds to the composition. |

Blair, this image has beautiful colors in it. So to emphasize those, I would crop the top and focus more on the blues and pinks. If you wanted to try saturating the rocks or dodge and burn the rocks, you might bring out more of the lines. What an accomplisment to make this climb! |
