Damon, that is such a beautiful area - Seabeck. I will print and use this photo, and will always have fond memories of being there. Sorry we missed the eagles, but got this instead. |

Blair, lovely presentation of this flower. I agree with Damon that the background should be all black. You could crop it even more, and just make it all about the flower. |

Debbie, I don't/can't do this type of photography at all, but it looks like a good start. I have only used some iphone apps that will make the water milky, and that is what I have tried in the past. |

This is a photographer's photograph. You brought us so into the apples, we could taste them. What a good subject to practice on, and you did a good job of capturing it. I agree with what Dean says, so ditto there. |

Dean, it is tough to go from birds to macro! So much in the forest of interest. Actually, I like the original and the macro, but I never would have guessed what it was. |

Damon, I like the image you captured of you. The umbrellas seem to clutter the photo, especially the blurred one. What about cropping it more, more focus on just you, or replacing the background. These are tricky, so you might just try some different ones without so much background? |

Dean, thanks for those comments. This has been so much fun playing with this on both my Sony and iphone this summer, since seeing some expertly done movement photos that sell for thousands! Serious question, do you think I could put this in a creative reality category, and PSÃ… folks would not completely reject it? Second serious question, I tried to darken some of the brighter white spots, and with the texture on it, it came out "smudged." You can see that in this photo, but I stopped there. Any tips on how I might darken the bright white spots, or would just leaving it alone would be better. The texture would be there, instead of the burr. |
