Thanks. When I crop the sky it becomes more gray and less light. I wanted to show all the sky in this one, to get your comments! |

Me too, just don't think I got that shot. I tried a crop taking out the front bird, which makes the other birds larger. Take a look at that, and does that help or hurt the photo? Thanks for the comments.

I agree with your choice of the B&W. Was wondering if the water was green or blue, and what color the poles were, and nothing really there. |

Seeing the two images, I like the second one with the plastic as the subject. I could see with more cropping you could focus on the texture of the plastic, with some plants, and to me that would make it more interesting. Title it "plants in space!" I hear and see that you really want spring to come soon. Me too! |

I agree with Anne, as I can't tell where the posts end and the reflection begins. B&W adds drama, but I would like to see the color image. Also like that there is a difference between the sky and the water, as it helps clarify. |

I suffered the same ice storm, but took photos of birds - real ones - looking for a port in the storm. Great eye to see this, and I love that it a photo of just that point in time. I agree with the edits you did, and you came out with a unique, pretty swan. |

The sky is the altered in the photo, and not the birds, front to back. They are as I took them. The sky was "relit" to fit the light there. Is that what you are seeing?
