Hello Rick, And a beautiful Dahlia it is! Coloring, shading, lighting, and blending all work so well. I would love to hear how you create your composites using various apps. It would be interesting to see the original to this major transformation. Great image! |

Hello Kirsti, I absolutely love your creative mind! You see things that the average person just doesn't see. After describing your surreal being, it truly does resemble a protector of nature. Crop works well, with "The Guardian" being just to the right. I wonder if adding longer slivers of green grass would add to the nature feel? Using the same bright green color for the grass and the branches being held provides a nice cohesiveness. A bit of a distraction was the wire fencing just above the grass. Perhaps, removing the wire fencing and add more grass would yield a different perspective. As is, image is a nice creation! |

Hello Joan, Love this nature image, which is truly so soothing, whereby the colors work well together in your cropped selection. Naturally, the leading lines certainly guides the eyes vertically. I agree with Kirsti that perhaps incorporating a little more of the gold to the left would balance the colors. Honestly, it just a matter of what appeals to you, and if you took 4 crops from 4 different areas, it would yield 4 different moods. Nice image! |

Hi Joan, Thanks so much for your feedback! Leaving the light reflection wasn't an oversight; it was intentional so that all elements had a reflection, including the people relaxing on the left. However, I can see how this may be distracting for some and can be easily removed. Input is greatly appreciated! |

Hi Kirsti, Appreciate your feedback! The two bright spots on the left was a lamp post reflecting in the water. Leaving the light reflection was intentional so that all elements had a reflection, including the people relaxing on the left. However, I can see how this can be draw attention from the center. Perhaps, the green could be reduced, but I just love color. Thanks so much! |
